Amos is a loving dog who enjoys tickles and tummy rubs.

Initially, we thought he might be a little anti-social with his new doggy friends when he arrived, but that turned out not to be the case.

Amos loves playing with other dogs and he is currently in a secure area and sleeps overnight in a kennel which he shares with another female. In fact he gets along well with all his kennel mates but does not get along with cats and it’s advisable he is not placed in a home with chickens, birds or other similar animals.

Described as very obedient, Amos is a gentle boy who doesn’t always realize just how big he is.

He craves attention and will thrive in a one-on-one environment where he can learn some manners. While he can be a bit food-driven—trying to take treats from your hands sometimes—he’s not aggressive, just enthusiastic! With time and patience, Amos has the potential to improve further with training in a loving home environment.

His loving nature and eagerness to please make him a perfect doggy friend for any family that can give him the care and attention he deserves.
