Handsome Julio has been waiting far too long for a home of his own.

Julio came into our care as a puppy over four years ago. Like so many young dogs, he should have quickly found a family and gone on to enjoy all the things every dog deserves – a warm bed, daily walks, and people to call his own. Sadly, for whatever reason, that special home never came along, and Julio is still waiting.

It breaks our hearts because he is such a lovely little dog.

Julio is a happy, affectionate boy who genuinely enjoys being around people. One of the first things you’ll notice about him is his little stumpy tail, which always seems to be wagging. Whether he is greeting visitors, heading out for a walk or simply enjoying some fuss and attention, Julio approaches life with a cheerful and positive attitude.

He loves his walks and enjoys exploring the world around him, but he is not a demanding dog. In fact, Julio is a fairly laid-back little chap who is just as happy enjoying some company and affection as he is heading out on an adventure.

Everyone who knows Julio wonders why he is still waiting. He is friendly, easy-going and has so much love to give. Yet somehow, year after year, he watches other dogs leave for their forever homes while he remains behind.

We would love nothing more than for Julio’s luck to finally change.

He is not looking for anything extraordinary. He simply wants what every dog dreams of – a family to love him, a sofa to curl up on, and the security of knowing that he finally belongs.
