Amy is a beautiful girl who will steal your heart.

Amy was rescued earlier in 2023 and has since spent time in the safe and secure environment of our shelter.

Initially she was extremely timid and very scared of human contact. She wouldn’t come near anyone for the first few weeks, so we took our time allowing her to build trust.

Gradually she has become increasingly braver and stronger.

She now interacts confidently with our volunteers and she happily lets anyone put her collar on whereas she wasn’t very keen when she first arrived! She walks regularly with other dogs and was very fond of her kennel mate Harrison. She really is the most kindest gentlest soul. When you look into those eyes of hers she just melts your heart. Amy is ready to find her forever home. She walks beautiful both on and off lead. As she’s a little older in her years now she doesnt need loads of exercise she’s happy with a gentle stroll and would love nothing more than to be curled up next to you on the sofa. Our volunteer Sue thinks Amy would suit an older family as the only dog.
