Rescued from a neglectful situation by Noah’s, along with his friend Ricky, Winston came to us in a very poor state. He had a collar embedded in his neck—a puppy collar that had not been removed as he grew. It’s heartbreaking to think about the cruelty he faced, but despite his rough past, Winston remains a beautiful boy with a gentle spirit. Winston is a sweet and unassuming dog who really deserves a second chance at happiness. Although his past has left a mark on him, his kind nature shines through. He interacts well with both humans and other dogs, and while his tail wags slowly, it’s a testament to his gentle soul. Winston’s eyes tell the story of his sad past, yet they also display hope and love. Winston would do best in a quiet home with kind-hearted people who understand his background. Due to his previous trauma with the collar, he can become anxious when trying to put a harness or collar on him. Therefore, a peaceful environment with a lovely garden where he can potter around and explore would be ideal. All he longs for is comfy spot on a sofa where he can feel safe and loved.
