One of our rescue dogs, Betsy, gave birth prematurely on 11th June 2026, but sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, only Yanny survived.

Yanny spent some time in our wonderful Vets Happy Pets who got her through her first few days.

Of course, it would better if Betsy could have fed Yanny herself, but she has no milk and we have already lost two babies – we could not risk losing this little girl as well.

She was so tiny and we were all hoping she pulls through.

From Happy Pets she was transferred to foster carers Scott & Danni.

Bottle feeding a puppy so young takes a lot of time and patience and we cannot thank this lovely couple enough 🥰

It’s been touch and go but Yanny now has one eye open and is getting stronger every day.
